PERKS
One of the best ways to get better at comedy is to watch others thoughtfully. RCC students are eligible, with certain special exceptions, to attend any RCC show for free as part of their training.
ATTENDANCE
We urge all students to attend all classes. Should a student be absent for 2 or more classes, it will be at the discretion of the teacher to dismiss that student from the course.
CLASS SHOWS
You must attend at least 6 classes in order to participate in class shows.
TIMELINESS
Showing up on time is not only necessary to cover all the material in a given class, it is a sign of respect to your teacher, your fellow students and yourself. Should you be more than 15 minutes late to a given class, it will be at the discretion of the teacher to bar you from entry into that class. Classes missed because of lateness will be counted as an absence against attendance.
INTOLERABLE CONDUCT
RCC classes are intended to foster a supportive learning atmosphere. Your conduct contributes directly to that end.
Intolerable conduct includes, but is not limited to:
• Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol during class
• Destruction of physical property
• Bringing a non-student party to class
• Blatant disrespect for teachers and fellow students
Intolerable conduct will not be tolerated and will result in involuntary dismissal from class.
There will be no refunds in the case of an involuntary dismissal.
CANCELING CLASS
RCC reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class should the stated minimum number of registered students not be reached by the stated start date of classes. Should no suitable postponement be available, RCC reserves the right to determine any full or partial refunds on a case by case basis.
REFUNDING OR TRANSFERRING REGISTRATION
All sales are final, there are no refunds. If you have paid for a class and realize you cannot attend before the session starts, you may transfer that registration to a future class.
Due to limited class size, only registered and paid students will be allowed in class. Payment for classes will be made in full before the stated start date of that class. Registration is taken first-come, first-served.
Any exceptions to any of the above policies due to extenuating circumstances will be made on a case by case basis.
